Can I ask the cleaning professional to remove their shoes before entering my home?

No. It's actually against OSHA regulations to ask the cleaning professional to remove their shoes. Without shoes, your cleaning professional is at risk of slipping, falling, or stepping on sharp objects that might be lying around.

We understand your concern that they might be tracking in additional grime by wearing shoes, but rest assured that the cleaning professional will leave your home tidy and clean, even when they are wearing their shoes.
